How do I exit "Try Me" mode?
To exit “Try Me” mode, hold the Current Time and the Encourage Duration buttons together for 5 seconds. Wait for the beep before continuing in “Normal” mode.

What if the BedTime or WakeTime routines do not start at the right times?
This issue occurs when parents manually start the BedTime or Wake Time routines. If you use the manual override function, My Tot Clock will assume that the "override" time is the new "Bed Time" or "Wake Time." As a little reminder, simply press the corresponding button on the back of the clock before the next Bed Time or Wake Time to reset the standard routine. My Tot Clock will take it from there!

Why is the yellow light now RED?
The yellow light begins to turn red when the batteries are low. Either replace the batteries or plug My Tot Clock into the wall with the AC Power Adapter (included).

Do the digital clock and the analog clock work together?
All My Tot Clock functions operate off the digital clock on the back of the unit. The analog clock on the front of the unit is simply for introducing your child to the concept of telling time. Although the digital and analog clocks must be set separately (see User Guide), they will remain in-sync through a special function that syncs them up at the top of each hour.
Note: When setting the Current Time, it is important to set the Analog clock first, then the Digital clock. If you reverse the order, the Digital clock "minutes" will be reset to 00 each time the big hand reaches 12 (top of the hour).

What if we miss the bedtime? How can I restart the bedtime story?
The creators of My Tot Clock are parents too, and we understand that sometimes “life happens!” If you need to put your little one to sleep sooner than their regular bedtime or you miss their bedtime altogether, simply hold down the blue button on the top of the clock for 5 seconds to manually start the bedtime routine. The blue light will turn on (if it’s not on already) and the bedtime story will begin.
Note: Be sure to press the "Bed Time" button on the back of the clock before the next Bed Time to reset the standard routine. My Tot Clock will take it from there!

What if I need to wake my child up sooner than the waketime?
The creators of My Tot Clock are parents too, and we understand that sometimes “life happens!” If you need to wake your little one sooner than their regular waketime, just sneak into their room and hold down the yellow button on the top of the clock for 5 seconds to manually start the wake routine. The yellow light will turn on and the wake music will begin (if selected).

Can the bedtime stories, lullabies, and white noise be programmed?
Absolutely! By using the switches on the back of the clock, you can create a bedtime and waketime routine that is perfect for your child. You can play a bedtime story only; lullabies only; story + lullabies; story + lullabies + white noise...it's all up to you!

How do I stop the bedtime story, lullabies, white noise or wake up music?
Turning off the sound in mid-play is easy! Simply click the button on the top of My Tot Clock that corresponds to the current color and the sound will stop. For example, if the wake music is playing, click the yellow button; if the lullabies are playing (during naptime), click the light blue button; and if the story is playing (during bedtime), click the dark blue button. The sound will immediately stop. To re-start the sound from the beginning, hold the corresponding buttons down for 5 seconds.

How do I dim the blue light?
The blue light has 5 levels of illumination and can also be turned off entirely without impacting the rest of the clock functions. Use the Blue Light Dimmer on the back of the clock to select the level that works best for your child.

How do I turn on and off the red and green lights?
Turning on the red and green lights is easy! Once you set the Discipline Duration (red light) or Encourage Duration (green light), simply click the corresponding buttons on the top of My Tot Clock to activate. This feature is designed for one-click activation so your child can start their own timers. It was also designed for no cheating, so the timers cannot be turned off until time is up! If you need to force the timers off, simply turn off the clock by holding down the On/Off button for 5 seconds.

Is My Tot Clock safe for children?
This product has been independently tested for lead paint content and has passed all related child safety tests for children Ages 2+ according to the ASTM F963 standard for toy safety.

What if my child tries to stay awake until the yellow light turns on?
Children are so fascinated with the "magical" changing of the lights that they may want to stay awake to see My Tot Clock go from blue to yellow. For the first few nights, set the Wake Music to ON and let your child know that the clock will wake them up when the color changes. They won't miss a thing!

Why can’t I change the clock time settings?
If you are unable to change the clock settings, check first that the clock is On by confirming that a color is illuminating on the front. If the clock is On and you still can’t change the time settings, you may need to reboot. Simply unplug and remove the batteries for 30 – 60 seconds. Why won’t the bedtime story or music play?
The bedtime story, lullabies, white noise, and wake music play off Tot Clock Treasure cartridges. Make sure you have a cartridge plugged into the back of the clock and that it’s pushed all the way in. Also confirm that you have the desired functions set correctly using the switches on the back of the clock (Play @ WakeTime and Play @ NapTime & BedTime). How do I completely turn off My Tot Clock?
The On/Off button on the back of My Tot Clock is designed to turn off the lights and sounds, but the clock will continue to keep time. If you need to turn the clock off entirely (for example, if traveling on an airplane), you will need to remove the batteries.

Will My Tot Clock continue to work during a power outage?
Absolutely! As long as you have batteries installed in My Tot Clock, it will continue to work even if the lights go out. Your child’s sleep and wake routine won’t skip a beat!
